To capture a guidde without the extension logo (recording panel) appearing, follow these simple steps:
Pin the Guidde Extension to Your Browser
Before hiding the recording panel, make sure the Guidde extension is pinned to your browser for easy access. Need help pinning it? Follow these instructions:
Once you pin the extension to your browser, it will automatically shift upward and will no longer appear in your captured guiddes.
1. To hide the recording panel while recording, click the extension logo to open the recording panel.
2. Click the the UP arrow on the toolbar to hide the recording panel from view.
3. The recording panel will reappear in the upper right corner, just below the Guidde extension icon and will no longer be visible in your video. To continue, simply click anywhere on your screen to capture your steps.
If you pin the guidde extension to your toolbar - this will happen automatically.
You only need to do this once after installing the extension; the system will remember your choice. After that, simply click the Guidde icon in your browser’s extensions to access the recording panel.
That’s it! You’ve successfully hidden the recording panel while capturing your steps.
Pro Tip: You can overlay the recording panel for existing videos
If your video already includes the recording panel logo, it can't be removed, but you can cover it in the video editor using a logo, text box, image or an AI avatar, based on your subscription plan. See examples below:

2. To apply it across all steps of your video, right-click on the added image and choose "Apply to all steps".
