If you wish to capture a video and prefer to remove the extension logo from being visible in your recording, you can do so with just a few simple steps:
Pin the Guidde Extension to Your Browser
Before hiding the recording panel, make sure the Guidde extension is pinned to your browser for easy access. Need help pinning it? Follow these instructions:
1. While recording, click the extension logo to open the recording panel.
2. Click the "Hide" button on the toolbar to remove the recording panel from view.
3. The recording panel will reappear in the upper right corner, just below the Guidde extension icon and will no longer be visible in your video. To continue, simply click anywhere on your screen to capture your steps.
From now on, when you wish to open the recording panel, click the Guidde icon in your browser's extension.
That’s it! You’ve successfully hidden the recording panel while capturing your steps.
Pro Tip: Overlay the Recording Panel for Existing Videos
If your video already includes the recording panel logo, it can't be removed, but you can cover it in the editor using a logo, text box, or an AI avatar, based on your subscription plan. See examples below:

2. To apply it across all steps of your video, right-click on the added image and choose "Apply to all steps".
