Once you click Done to finish the capture process, the video will be processed and the transcript and visuals will be generated. Once the video is generated, it becomes available for editing.
1. Enter edit mode
To begin editing your step-by-step guide, click the "Edit Video" button in the right corner of the video preview page. This page will appear directly after your guide has been recorded.
2. Insert options
To explore what you can insert into your guide, click "Insert" in the editor mode.
You can effortlessly add to the steps of your video:
Text boxes
Shapes (rectangle, circle, arrow)
Images (logo, avatar, upload image)
Blur
Overlays
CTA buttons (single-button or multi-CTA menu)
Add and customize callout Text boxes
Incorporate callout text boxes within your video instructions and fine-tune them further to your preference with the toolbar.
Font Family: Choose a different font for each callout as needed.
Text Size: Adjust the size to ensure readability.
Text Color: Select the color that best fits your video's theme.
Highlight Color: Apply a highlight to emphasize the text.
Formatting Options: Use bold or underline for additional emphasis.
Add Shapes to highlight or add emphasis
Supported shape options are rectangle, circle, and arrow.
Use as regular shapes: Use shapes as standard visual elements to enhance your video's clarity.
You can edit the shape color and apply to all shapes (of the same type) for effortless consistency.
Highlight areas: Select the Spotlight icon to emphasize a specific area.
Insert Image options
Enhance your videos with a personal touch by integrating logos, avatars, and additional images for a more engaging and branded experience.
1. Add Logos for branding
Integrate your brand identity by using one of the logos from your Brand Kit. Logos help reinforce your visual identity throughout your video content.
2. Use Avatars for a personal connection
Add your own or the speaker's avatar to make communication feel more personal and relatable, fostering a stronger connection with your audience.
3. Upload Images for visual context
Enhance your videos by uploading complementary images or screenshots, providing additional visual context to clarify your message.

✂️ Resize captured images
Click Edit Video.
Select the step where you want to zoom in on an image.
Click Crop.
Use the Zoom Bar to adjust the zoom level.
Click Confirm to save the edits.
🔎 Zooming in on images helps emphasize key details or draw attention to specific areas.
🖼️ Replace captured images
1. Click 'Edit Video'
2. Select a video step where you want to change an image.
3. Click 'Crop'
4. Click 'Add Photo'
5. Pick an image from your library
6. Adjust the size of the inserted image
7. Click 'Confirm' to apply a change.
Blur sensitive information
Available on: Pro plan, Business plan, Enterprise plan
Blur can not be applied to: Cover, Ending and added 'Blank' and 'Image' steps
Utilize a resizable shape to blur out sensitive information from the video, safeguarding privacy and confidentiality.
To hide sensitive information consistently across all steps of your video, right-click the Blur shape and select "Apply to all steps."
Apply dark Overlay
Insert an Overlay to your steps to enhance the visibility of shapes, arrows, and text. Overlay can not be applied to added 'Image' steps.
To remove the Overlay, click on the dark filter. A trashcan icon will appear in the top left corner—click it to delete the overlay.
Add an Action
Want to send users to another video or website page? Leverage single and multi-actions for creating clickable CTAs right within your guide.
When creating Actions for your viewers, first you'll need to name the call-to-action button. Then you'll need to decide where to send your viewers.
You can choose to direct them to another step within your guide, a different video, or an external link such as a help center article.
Then click the "Update" button to apply the action criteria.
Don't forget to click the check box to save your edits.
3. Background settings
In addition to the insert options, you can also choose a background for a specific step or apply a background to all of your steps.

4. Motion effects
By clicking on "Motion" you can add an engaging transition animation between steps. We offer a variety of motion options.
5. Revert edits
To undo or redo edits in the video editor, use the following options:
Undo:
Press Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows) on your keyboard, or click the Undo button in the toolbar at the top of the editor. This will revert the most recent edit you made.
Redo:
Press Cmd+Shift+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+Z (Windows) on your keyboard, or click the Redo button in the toolbar to restore any action you previously undone.
Restore the last published version:
If you wish to revert the video to the previously published version, click the three dots in the top-right corner of the editor and select Restore published version. This will revert all changes made since the last published version.
6. Save edits
To save the current version of your video, simply click 'Done' to secure your progress.
