Brand Kit: Step Appearance

Define the default visual style for your videos by selecting default backgrounds, element colors, include/exclude callout text and overlay.

Let's make sure that your employee training materials consistently reflect your brand's evolving identity by utilizing the Step Appearance section of your Brand Kit.

1. Access your Brand Kit

2. Background

Let's begin with designating the default background for your videos.

3. Image as a background

Select Image option to upload an image as your background.

4. Gradient background

Select from the available gradients or create your own by entering your brand's color codes.

5. No Background (full screen)

Choose 'No Background' if you want your videos to appear full screen without background margins.

6. Elements color

Select default colors for your shapes, arrows, and numbers through the 'Elements' and 'Numbers' menus.

7. Video Layout

Open the 'Video Layout' menu to select whether you want your steps to include an overlay, callout text boxes, or arrows automatically added after the capture process is complete.

8. Document layout

Open the 'Document Layout' menu to customize the appearance of the step-by-step instructions located below the video.

9. Overlay

Tick the Overlay box if you want to have a layer of a dark filter applied by default for all your future videos. To enlarge the preview image, simply click on it.

10. Callout text boxes

Check or Uncheck the 'Callouts' option to manage the automatic generation of callout text boxes for the steps in your guide.

11. Arrows

Check the 'Arrows' option to enable Guidde to point at the areas where you clicked during the capture process, or uncheck it if you prefer to add arrows manually during editing.
