1. Accessing the AI Avatar Feature
To begin, navigate to the Speaker section in the left-side panel of the video editor.
Under the AI Text-to-Voice area, you'll see the familiar option to select a speaker. Now, you can also add an AI Avatar to present your video steps.
Click the pencil icon next to "Avatar" to open the selection menu.
Scroll through the available avatars to find the one that best fits your video.
You can choose a presenter with a styled background, or select a transparent avatar to blend into your layout.
2. Applying Your AI Avatar
Click on an avatar to choose it as your presenter.
Each avatar comes in several style options. Choose the one that complements your video and click "Select" to confirm.
Your AI avatar is now added to the step.
An animated preview won’t be available in the editor, as the avatar needs time to sync with your voiceover
For a smoother workflow and minimal wait time, add your avatar as the final step after completing all other edits
To see your avatar in action, click Done to process the video
You can resize your avatar by dragging the edges of its bounding box and move it anywhere on the screen.

3. Choosing your AI Avatar's Appearance
Your AI avatar will appear in the step where you added it, with a toolbar to control how it appears on screen: Full Body, Close-Up, or Bubble.
Full Body: This is the default view when first adding an AI avatar to a step.
Full body mode mode automatically adjusts to the step layout. Click and drag it to resize and place across your step as needed, double-click the avatar to return to full-screen mode.
Close-Up: A zoomed-in view of the AI avatar. Close-up mode automatically adjusts to the step layout when it's selected. Click and drag it to resize and move across your step as needed, double-click it to return to full-screen mode.
Bubble: Shows a circular avatar you can resize and place within your step, maintaining focus on your content while adding visual presence. You can anchor your Bubble avatar to a fixed spot on the top menu for consistent placement across steps.
Voice Only: For all other steps, the avatar will default to "Voice Only," meaning it won’t appear unless you switch to Full Body on the toolbar.
To remove an avatar from a specific step, switch to "Voice Only" or click the avatar and tap Backspace.
Styles: Click "Styles" to change your avatar’s appearance. This shortcut updates the style across all steps where the avatar appears.
4. Changing Your AI Avatar
To switch to a different avatar, click the pencil icon next to "Avatar" and make a new selection.
5. Apply Avatar Layout to Multiple Steps
You can copy and paste your avatar while keeping its format.
Click Ctrl C - to copy and Ctrl V - to paste it in the desired step.
To keep the avatar's size, position, or appearance consistent across all steps, right-click the avatar and choose the option you'd like to apply throughout the guide.
6. Layering Control
You can adjust the avatar’s layering to appear either in front of or behind other elements on the screen. Simply right-click the avatar and select your preferred position.
7. Removing an AI Avatar from Your Video
To remove the avatar entirely from your video, select "None" from the avatar menu.
8. Finalizing and Processing Your AI Avatar Video
When you're done editing your voiceover, remember to click "Generate Voiceover" to finalize and apply the speaker voice.
When you're satisfied with your AI avatar edits, click Done to begin processing.
Avatar processing may take a few moments. A pop-up will confirm that you’ll receive an email once your video is ready. To make further edits, click "Back to editing" before submitting. When you're ready, click "Generate" to start processing.
You’ll receive an email notification once processing is finished.
Click "View Your Guidde" from the email to open your completed video.
You can now view your AI Avatar in action. If you need to make further edits, you can re-enter the editor anytime.
