1. Click the guidde browser extension.

2. A pop-up will appear to set up your recording preferences. Select the Screen Recorder tab on the upper right, to configure your recording settings.

Here, you have two options:

Simply speak through your process, and Guidde will turn it into an AI narration that you can edit anytime. It’s perfect for creating personalized, polished content while recording your screen.

3. To record with Magic Mic and turn your narration into an AI voiceover, select Narrate with AI (The first option under screen recorder, marked by default).

4. A toggle indicator shows when your microphone is active. Click this section to select or switch microphones if needed.

5. Select the language you’ll be speaking - Guidde’s AI supports over 50 languages and automatically adapts to your selection.

6. Once you’re ready, click Start Recording.

7. A pop-up will appear asking which part of your screen to capture: A browser tab, an app window, or your entire screen.

8. Once you've made your selection, click Share at the bottom right to start.

9. An on-screen countdown appears before recording begins. Then, you can start walking and talking through your process.

10. While recording, open the recording panel by clicking the browser extension. From there, you can pause, restart, or delete your recording.

11. Click Done when you’re finished, to generate your guidde.

12. After clicking Done, a new tab opens where you can view your video. It’s saved as a single video step with automatic cover and ending steps. Your narration is converted into an AI voiceover, which you can edit anytime!

3. To record with your camera and audio, choose Record Yourself from the Screen Recorder tab.

4. You can turn your camera on or off. When enabled, a preview bubble appears on your screen. To turn it off, switch the "Camera" toggle off.

5. Resize your bubble by clicking on its bottom menu.

6. Click and drag the bubble to position it anywhere on the screen.

7. To record just yourself, toggle on Camera Only mode. This disables screen capture and keeps the focus entirely on you.

8. Use the Flip Camera toggle if you want to mirror your image.

9. To record your voice, switch the microphone toggle on.

10. After enabling the microphone, a list of available devices will appear. Select your preferred device.

11. Once everything’s set up, click Start Recording.
