Apply a Brand Kit to a Guidde

Admins, Content Managers, and Members can apply a Brand Kit directly from the video editor:

  1. Open your guidde in the video editor.

  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to access more actions, and select Brand Kit in the opened menu.

  3. Mark your preferred Brand Kit and click Apply kit at the bottom right.

    4. You can also set this Brand Kit as the default for future videos by checking the box in the bottom-left corner. This ensures it’s automatically applied to every new guidde you create.

What Happens When You Apply a Brand Kit to an Existing Guidde

Applying a Brand Kit post-capture quickly updates the look and feel of your existing video. It restyles the elements that are already there to match your selected Brand Kit.

What Gets Updated

  • Step numbering circles: Updated with the Brand Kit’s highlight and number colors.

  • Circles and Rectangles: Updated with the Brand Kit's highlight color.

  • Arrows: Recolored to match the Brand Kit setting.

  • Text callouts: Updated with the Brand Kit’s font, style, and colors.

  • Step background: Replaced with the Brand Kit default background (color, gradient, or image)

  • Cover and Ending Steps: Regenerated using the selected Brand Kit.

  • Intro (pre-roll) and Outro Steps: Replaced with the Brand Kit templates.

How Elements Are Applied

Brand Kits update only the elements that are already part of your guidde.

  1. Arrows: Updated if they were part of the original guidde; removed if disabled in the applied Brand Kit settings.

  2. Overlays: Updated if they were part of the original guidde; removed if disabled in the applied Brand Kit settings.

  3. Callouts: Updated if they exist in the original guidde; removed if disabled in the applied Brand Kit settings.

  4. Browser Bar: Updated if it exists in the original guidde; removed if disabled in the applied Brand Kit settings.

Note: If an element wasn’t included during the original capture, it won’t appear when applying a Brand Kit later.

By applying a Brand Kit, you can quickly restyle your existing guiddes to match you brand even after a guidde was created, ensuring a consistent and professional look without having to recreate any content.
