Insert Captured Clip

Captured Clip runs in the background and records dynamic on-screen motion while you create a step-by-step guiddes, within a single tab. You can add a captured clip as a video step to include key moments of your process

Automatic Captured Clips

When you complete the capture and click "Done" to generate a guidde, each guidde will automatically include a brief Introduction video clip, up to 5 seconds long.

πŸ“Œ When using Automated Video clips, only the current tab is recorded. If you switch to another tab, the recording will stop.

πŸ“Œ To ensure this feature works properly, use the extension button to start a capture instead of keyboard shortcuts.


Another type of activity that will generate an automatic snippet is Typing. This allows you to demonstrate form filling, search queries, interactive tutorials, and message composition.

How to insert a captured clip manually

To insert a clip manually, open your guide in the edit mode and follow the steps described in the guide below.

1. Click "Add step"

Click 'Add step'


2. Select "Insert captured clip"

Select 'Insert captured clip'


3. Drag the video timing bar to trim the clip. You can see a preview as you go.

4. Click "Save" to save the captured video clip

Click 'SAVE VIDEO'


5. A captured video step will be added to your guidde.
