Spaces allow you to organize your videos within a Workspace and distribute them based on your particular privacy requirements. A single video can be added to multiple Spaces simultaneously.
Folders provide an additional layer of organization within each Space, allowing for the categorization of videos based on more specific criteria, such as topics or stages of a project.
Spaces
To view all available Spaces in your organization, click the Spaces icon in the left-hand panel of your dashboard.
To prioritize your most visited or important Spaces, use the 'Star' feature to pin them for easy access.
Create a new Space
1. Navigate to the "Spaces" in the menu.
2. Click "+" icon to "Create new space."
3. Enter a name for the space.
4. Add a description for the space.
5. Select an image for the space cover/icon or pick a color for the default icon.
6. Choose a color for the space branding.
7. To ensure privacy, set the space to private. Only you will have access, and other users in your organization won't be able to request to join. You can still invite others manually.
8. Add members from your organization and assign them roles.
Invite users to your Space
Click on the 3-dots menu next to the relevant Space
You will be able to edit the Space details and:
invite new members
view the list of workspace members
leave the space (if you're not the last member)
Update Space user role
Adding Individual Videos or Playlists to a Space
Find the video or playlist you wish to share.
Click the three-dot menu on the item and select "Add to Space."
Choose the relevant Space by checking the corresponding checkbox, or create a new Space if needed.
Select a Folder or create a new one on the fly.
Click Save to add the video to the selected space and folder.
⚠️ A video or playlist can only exist in one folder at a time within a Space.
Adding multiple videos/playlists to a Space
Note: Presently, the ability to share multiple videos and playlists simultaneously is limited to those for which you are the owner.
1. Navigate to 'My Guides'.
2. Choose the relevant videos by marking the checkbox on the left side of the video thumbnail.
3. Click on "Share to Space".
4. Select the appropriate spaces by checking the corresponding checkboxes.
