Viewer Permission Types:
You can share your Guiddes and playlists in several ways - for example:
Permission Type | Description |
Adds clickable links to videos and playlists directly in the email body. | |
Public | Anyone with the link; unindexed by search engines. |
Account | Anyone in your account (workspace). |
Channels | A group of users in a team channel, or external users grouped in a connected Channel. |
Individuals | A specific Guidde user in your company, or an external member in a joint Channel.

Open the Share Modal
To start sharing, open the Share modal. You can do this in one of the following ways:
From the video's view page: Click Share in the upper-right corner.
From Guidde’s homepage: Click the three-dot menu at the top-right of your video or playlist, then select Share from the menu.
2. The Share modal will open, where you can email your guidde, copy the link, adjust privacy settings, and access export or embed options.
Set Your Guidde's Privacy
1. In the Share modal, you can set your guidde’s privacy and visibility, in the bottom-left corner. Click the arrow to open the menu.
2. From the opened menu, select the privacy and visibility level you prefer:
Anyone with the link can view
Anyone in the workspace can view
Only added individuals can have access
3. Once you’ve set the appropriate privacy level, you can share, embed, or export your guidde based on that setting and your preference.
Share a Guiddes or Playlists via Email
From the Share modal, you can send a guidde or playlist directly to a single recipient or a group via email. You can also copy the link and share it however you like.
Copy Link
1. Once you’ve clicked Share on the video or playlist, go to the bottom-right corner of the Share modal and click Copy Link.
2. A checkmark will confirm the link was copied.
Now, simply paste it wherever you need and share with ease.
3. Your guidde will play directly from the shared link. Just make sure the privacy settings match your indented audience.
Send a Video or Playlist via Email
1. To send your guidde directly via email, or grant specific viewers access, type in an email address in the designated field. You can add multiple emails here if you wish.
2. After entering the emails, press Enter to confirm.
3. In the opened menu, you can add an optional message to personalize your delivery, then click Share.
4. Your guidde will be sent via email to the selected viewers, and will be seamlessly embedded in the video they receive.
5. You can see who has access to the guidde right below the email field. Hover over the icon to view the full name if needed.
Add a Guidde to a Channel
The Guidde will be added to the existing content and playlists in the Channel, and will be visible to all its members. Learn more about Channels in Guidde here.
1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the guidde or playlist you want to add to a Channel.
2. In the opened menu, select "Add to Channel".
3. Add to the relevant channel/s by checking the checkbox next to them.
4. You can create a new Channel if none of the existing fits your needs. Simply click create a new Channel and type in its name.
5. Click "Save"
Share a Guidde or Playlist within Your Workspace
When the privacy level of your video is set to "Anyone in the workspace can view", the video/playlist will be available to everyone in your organization.
Click the 3-dot menu on the video/playlist's top right corner.
Click "Share".
In the bottom left of the share modal, set the access level to" Anyone in the Workspace Can View". The video is now available to everyone in your organization.
