Embed a Video or a Playlist on a Web Page

You can easily integrate your step-by-step video guidde into other webpages, wikis, knowledge-bases, or any platform that supports HTML.

Updated yesterday

Available on: Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.

  • This feature isn’t part of the free trial and is included in all paid plans.

  • Currently supports video-only embeds.

You can easily embed any publicly accessible Guidde video or playlist into a webpage connected to you or your company. Whether it’s a site you own or one that supports embedding, here’s a preview of how your Guidde video will appear:

Copy the iframe Embed Code

  1. Ensure the privacy settings of your video are set as Public as described here.

  2. Open the Share modal by clicking "Share" on the video you want to embed.

    • You can do this right after capturing your video, on the upper right corner.

    • Or from the guidde homepage via the three-dot menu on on the top right of each video or playlist.

3. In the Share Modal, click "Embed".

  • A preview of your guide will appear within the Embed section. Click the preview if you’d like to review it before sharing.

4. Click Copy embed code. Your iframe code is now copied to your clipboard.

Paste the iframe Code into the Destination Webpage.

5. Navigate to your destination webpage and paste it into any platform that supports HTML (in this example: Notion).

Default settings (optional)

  1. In the Embed settings menu at the bottom, you’ll see two toggled-on options:

  • Fixed width (700px) - ensures a consistent, optimal, video size.

  • Search optimization - allows search engines to find your video using its transcript.

2. You can turn either off if needed.

Embedding your guides brings them closer to your users - right where work happens! It’s a quick, effective way to improve visibility, streamline access, and boost collaboration.
