Copy the Embed Code from Guidde
1. Select the video you wish to embed in Guru.
Click "Share", either from the upper right of the video's doc view, or the three-dot menu each video has in your Guidde homepage.
2. In the opened Share Modal, select "Embed".
3. Click "Copy embed code" from the lower right of the share modal.
Paste the Embed Code in Guru
4. Navigate to Guru and open, or create, the card where you will share your guidde.
5. Ensure your Guru card has a title, and click "Code Snippet" at the top menu bar.
6. Click into the text area and paste the embed code you had copied from Guidde.
7. Once the embed code is entered, your embedded video will appear on the Guru page. Any future updates to this video in Guidde, will be synced and automatically updated in Guru. No extra editing needed, and your content is always up to date!
Add a Step-by-Step Article
Copy Markdown from Your Video
Click "Share", either from the upper right of the video's doc view, or the three-dot menu each video has in your Guidde homepage.
2. Select "Export" in the right of the opened Share Modal.
3. Scroll down the export options and find Markdown.
4. Click the "Copy" icon next to Markdown.
Paste Markdown into Guru
4. Navigate to Guru and open, or create, the card where you will share your content.
5. Click into the text area in your Guru card.
6. Select "Markdown" from the upper menu tab of your Guru card.
7. Paste the markdown you previously copied from Guidde.
After pasting, your Guru card will display:
A video link
A video preview image
Step-by-step article.
The video preview image is clickable and will open the video in a new tab. If you want the video to play directly within the card, you can embed it by following the steps above - here.
8. To preview your article in Guru, you can click the Eye icon on the top right.
Optional: If you want to remove just the video image preview, you can do it by selecting the highlighted section from your markdown section and deleting it.
This is an example of your Guru card without an image preview:
It will display just the video link and a step-by-step article.
9. Once you're finished, publish your Guru card.
Your Guru card is Ready to Guidde!
