Easily safeguard sensitive data in your captured steps by employing the Overlay feature to darken the background or the Blur feature to selectively blur specific areas.
To apply Blur or Overlay to the steps of your video:
1. Enter edit mode for your video;
2. Click on Insert;
3. Select Overlay or Blur effect to apply.
Overlay can be applied multiple times (for darker effect) for one and the same step.
To remove the extra layer of the overlay:
1. Open your guide in edit mode.
2. Click anywhere within the captured screen image.
3. The overlay will be highlighted with a blue frame, and a trash bin icon will appear in the top left corner.
4. Click on the trash bin icon to remove the excessive darkness from the step of your guide.
To blur the same spot throughout your guide:
1. Right-click the Blur element
2. Select "Apply to all steps"
