Adding Guidde Videos and Step-by-Step Articles to Zendesk

In this guidde, you'll learn how to add step-by-step video instructions directly into your Zendesk Knowledge Base articles.

Copy the Guidde HTML for Zendesk Integration

1. Select the relevant video and Click "Share". You can do that:

  • In the video's Doc view page: Click "Share" on the upper right of your screen.

  • From Guidde’s homepage, click the 3-dot menu at the top right of your video and select "Share" from the opened menu.

Note: Make sure your video is set to public before embedding it on external platforms. Learn more here.

2. In the opened Share Modal, select "Export" from the top right corner.

3. Scroll down the integrations menu to find Zendesk, then click the copy icon next to it. This will copy the video and instructions to your clipboard in an HTML format optimized for Zendesk articles.

Once selected, the instructions will be copied into your clipboard.

Navigate to Zendesk and Paste on the Relevant Page

4. Navigate to the relevant Zendesk page.

5. Click the “Source Code” icon on the right side of the editor toolbar.

6. Paste the HTML you previously copied into the Source Code box.

7. Click "OK" to save your changes.

8. Your video and how-to article will appear in a Zendesk-ready format, no extra formatting needed.

The video and instructions will appear in a format optimized for Zendesk

Note: To ensure the video player displays correctly, you may need to allow external iframes in your Zendesk Knowledge Base.
