Quiz Attempt History

Every completed attempt is stored and never overwritten, allowing you to maintain a complete training history. If a viewer leaves a quiz before finishing, their progress isn't saved and the unfinished attempt doesn't appear in analytics.

Quizzes in Translated Guiddes

When you translate a guidde, the quiz is translated along with it — questions and answers appear in the learner's language automatically.

Each language version keeps its own independent copy of the quiz, so you can fine-tune the wording for each audience if needed. Quiz results are also tracked separately per language, meaning your analytics show exactly how learners performed in each version.

Note: Since each translated quiz is independent, changes you make to the quiz in the original guidde won't automatically apply to existing translated versions. Review each translated quiz separately to keep them in sync.

Quizzes in Embedded Videos

Quizzes are supported in embedded guiddes viewed by authenticated (logged-in) users only. If a viewer accesses an embedded guidde anonymously, quiz content will not be displayed.

  • Quizzes are included in SCORM files and are available in the player for logged-in users.

  • When a video's sharing setting is set to Anyone with the link can view, the quiz will not appear in the embedded player. Since these viewers are not signed in, Guidde cannot identify quiz participants or track their results.

  • To enable quizzes in an embedded video, change the video's sharing setting to Anyone in the workspace. Viewers will be prompted to sign in, the quiz will be displayed, and results will be tracked.

Question Types

The question type is determined automatically:

  • One correct answer creates a single-select question.

  • Two or more correct answers create a multi-select question.

For multi-select questions, viewers must select all correct answers to receive credit.

Quizzes FAQ:

Can I add more than one quiz to a guidde?

Yes. You can add as many quizzes as you'd like. Each quiz generates questions based on the guidde content from the beginning up to the step it's placed on — so the further along a quiz appears, the more content it covers. If two quizzes are placed at or near the same step, they'll draw from the same content, space them out so each one covers a distinct section.

Will editing a quiz affect existing results?

No. Historical data is preserved when you edit or remove questions. Results collected before the edit remain intact alongside any new data collected after — nothing gets overwritten or lost.

Can I move a quiz to a different step?

Not directly — a quiz is fixed to the step it was added on and can't be repositioned. To move a quiz, delete it and re-add it at the new step.
