Upload your File
1. Click "New" from your Guidde homepage to upload a file.
2. In the opened menu, click into the "Upload File" section and select a file from your device. Supported file-types you can convert to Guiddes:
MP4
PPTX
PDF
DocX
In this guide, we'll use a PowerPoint (PPTX) file as an example. The process is exactly the same for PDF and Docx files. Simply follow the steps below.
Note: You can upload up to 100 pages per PPT, PDF or Docx.
Maximum File size limit - without generating voiceover: 300MB
Maximum File size limit - with generating voiceover: 50MB
3. Once you've selected a file, a progress bar will show you the upload process.
4. Once the file upload is complete, you'll see a menu where you can:
Select which slides/pages to include in your guidde (all are included by default)
Set the narration language
Use the speaker notes (for pptx files)
Select the narration detail level based on your file
5. To choose specific slides you'd like to include in your guidde, click "Select Slides". Otherwise, all slides or pages are selected by default.
6. Mark the checkboxes at the top of each slide/page to include or remove them from your video. To "Select all slides" or "Clear selection", use the options at the top of the menu.
7. Click "Select Slides" (or "Select Pages" with other files) to confirm your selection.
8. When creating a Guidde from a PowerPoint file, you can toggle on "Use Speaker Notes" so the AI transcript takes them into account when generating your guidde.
9.Use the dropdown to select your preferred narration language.

10. You can adjust your guidde’s detail level to control how much information is included in the output:
Brief - Covers only the key points for a quick, concise guidde.
Standard - Includes main points along with context (this is the default setting).
Comprehensive - Provides full explanations with a more detailed walkthrough.
11. Once everything is set, click "Generate Guidde".
You can click it right away if you’re not making any changes.

Edit Your File-Based Guidde
11. Once your video is ready, you'll land in the full-screen Speaker Editor.
Preview steps on the left, edit the AI generated speaker notes on the right.
12. Click into any text box to edit the step titles and speaker notes, your voiceover will update instantly.
For each step, you have quick access to play the narration, adjust the speed, delete, or fine-tune pronunciation as needed.
13. When you're ready, click "Continue editing".
14. You’ll land in the Guidde Video Editor, where you can either click “Done” to save your video or keep customizing it using the full set of tools in the video editor.
15. To return to the full-screen Speaker Editor, click the frame icon on the speaker panel, and click “Continue Editing” to go back to the main video editor (as shown in step 13).
16. Save your changes by clicking "Done."
Your file just came to life! Now it's an engaging, narrated guidde video that ensures your message is clear, compelling, and easy to follow.
