You can use it to:
Improve an entire transcript at once.
Rewrite individual transcript steps.
Refine specific text sections.
Edit the document seperately from the video.
Apply to callout text in a guidde step.
Improve Your Entire Transcript with the AI Writing Assistant
1. Open the video editor by clicking Edit on the video you're working on.
2. Open the Speaker section from the left-side menu.
3. Click the AI Writing Assistant icon at the top of the panel to edit the content across your entire guidde at once.
4. You’ll see your full transcript in an expanded step-by-step view for easy review.
5. Click Improve in the top-right corner to open the AI Writing Assistant menu.
6. In the opened menu, select how you'd like to refine your content:
Improve writing
Fix grammar and spelling
Make longer
Make shorter
Change tone: professional, friendly, casual
7. Once an option is selected, Guidde generates an alternative version for your transcript, making it easy to compare suggestions and choose your preferred version.
8. You can accept all suggested changes across your transcript at the upper right of the panel, or reject them and start over.
9. You can also review suggestions for each step and click Accept or Reject individually.
Click the search icon in the top-right corner of the panel and type a word or phrase to quickly find all its occurrences in the transcript. This helps you easily review and verify specific moments, key topics, and accurate phrasing if needed.
10. Click Save changes to apply the changes across the transcript.
Rewrite a Single Step
1. Access the Speaker section in the Video Editor.
2. Click inside the transcript text box, then select AI Assistant below the step text.
3. The same Writing Assistant menu opens with a range of writing options. Select the option you'd like to apply.
4. Once the generated suggestion appears, you can:
Copy the text
Regenerate the suggestion
Accept the changes
Return to the original transcript
Rewrite Specific Text Sections
Use this option to refine specific phrases without rewriting the entire step.
1. Highlight the text within a transcript step.
2. In the floating menu above the selected text, click the AI Writing Assistant icon.
3. Select the writing improvement you'd like to apply.
4. Once the text is rewritten, you can copy it to your clipboard, regenerate the suggestion, accept the changes, or return to the original transcript using the icons beneath the suggested text.
Apply to Text Boxes
Use the AI Writing Assistant to quickly refine and standardize text directly in a Guidde step.
1. In the Video Editor, click a text box on the step canvas.
2. In the floating menu above the selected text, click AI Assistant.
3. Select the writing option you'd like to apply. The same writing assistant options are available.
Edit the Document Using the AI Writing Assistant
The AI Assistant is also available while editing the guidde document that accompanies your video.
1. In the Editor, access the Document Editor from the top of your guidde.
2. Highlight the text you’d like to refine.
3. In the floating menu above, click AI Assistant.
4. Select a writing option to apply.
