Using Guidde with Intercom is easy and quick, and enables fast and concise communication with customers, as well as the ability to track viewers without added effort.
In this article, we will cover the various ways to use Guidde with Intercom:
Sharing a video within an Intercom conversation
Ad-hoc sharing
Go to the video you want to share:
Select "Share" from the 3-dots menu inside the thumbnail
Click on "Track"
Click on Intercom from the available sharing options, and a tracked linked GIF will be copied into your clipboard.
Note: Video or Playlist will need to be public to be shared with an Intercom track link. If the video is restricted, the "GIF" option can be used instead.
Go to the Intercom conversation and paste the video (from your clipboard).
Adding a video or a playlist to a macro
Go to the video you want to share and click on Share
Select the "Track" tab
Click on Intercom from the available sharing options, and a tracked linked GIF will be copied into your clipboard.
Open the Intercom Macro to which you want to add the video into.
Paste the video (from your clipboard) into the Macro.
