Using Guidde with Intercom allows for quick and clear communication with customers while effortlessly tracking viewers through the live Activity Feed.

Ad-hoc sharing within an Intercom conversation
Find the video you want to share in your library
Select "Share" from the 3-dots menu inside the thumbnail
Click on "Track" tab
Click on Intercom from the available sharing options, and a tracked linked GIF will be copied into your clipboard.
Go to the Intercom conversation and paste the video (from your clipboard).
π Video or Playlist will need to be public to be shared with an Intercom track link.

π For Restricted videos, you can use the 'Copy GIF' option available in the Share tab.

Adding a video or a playlist to a macro
Go to the video you want to share and click on Share
Select the "Track" tab
Click on Intercom from the available sharing options, and a tracked linked GIF will be copied into your clipboard.
Open the Intercom Macro to which you want to add the video into.
Paste the video (from your clipboard) into the Macro.

Embedding a video on an Intercom article
1. Click the Share button on the video you want to embed
2. Select the Export tab
3. Select and copy just the highlighted URL of the video (between the quotation marks)
4. Switch to the Intercom Article you wish to embed the video on
5. Select the 'Embed Video' button from the bottom toolbar.
6. Paste the URL link you copied from Guidde
7. Once published, the embedded video will be visible in the article.

π The embedded video will appear minimized while you are editing the article, but it will expand to match the width of the page once published.
Adding step-by-step instructions to an Intercom article
1. Choose the desired video and click on 'Share.'
2. Navigate to the 'Smart Copy' tab, which allows you to copy guides in a format optimized for HTML-compatible text editors.
3. Select HTML to copy the video and instructions to your clipboard.
4. Go to the Intercom Help Center page you are working on.
5. Paste the content from your clipboard into the text editor by pressing 'Cmd/Ctrl + V' or by right-clicking and selecting 'Paste.' The instructions will be inserted in an optimized format.
