Captions Editor tool is designed to simplify the way you handle captions, making the entire experience more intuitive and efficient. Add, edit, delete, and preview your captions in real-time. Enjoy intuitive error handling, quick downloads, and a powerful search function.

This guide will take you through the steps of adding, editing, deleting, and previewing your captions in real-time.


1. Start with clicking "EDIT VIDEO" button.

Click 'EDIT VIDEO'


2. Click "Captions" on the toolbar.

Click 'Captions'


3. Captions are automatically created from your video’s transcript.

4. Editing a block of captions

To make edits, click on the captions block. As you make changes, you'll see them reflected on the step in real-time. To save your edits, simply click outside the block. Rest assured, captions edits will not impact the transcript text of your video.

5. Adding a new block of captions

To add a new block of captions, hover over existing captions block and click the '+' icon. Each block of captions has a limit of 88 characters.

7. Save edits

Click outside the captions block to save edits.

Fill 'Add captions to your guide. '


8. Delete a block of captions

To delete a captions block, hover over it and select the 'Trash bin' icon.

9. Timestamps

The Captions Editor lets you adjust the timestamps for each captions block.

Fill '00:23.5'


If caption blocks overlap, they will be highlighted in red. To understand the issue, hover over the Info icon to read the error description and make the necessary adjustments.

11. Error handling

Before finalizing your edits, ensure you fix all errors so that your captions are perfectly synced with the video timing.

12. Search bar

The search feature allows you to quickly locate specific words or phrases within your captions, saving you time and effort.

Click 'Search'

All you need to do is click on the search box and start typing.

15. Download captions

To download captions, click the three dots and choose either the SRT or VTT file format.
