How to Embed Guidde Videos in PPT Presentations

Let your presentation speak for itself! Insert Guidde videos into PowerPoint presentations and play them seamlessly while presenting.

This article demonstrates the process using a PowerPoint file stored in Drive (PPT Drive). The same steps apply to standard PowerPoint files.

1. Click the three-dot menu on the video you'd like to share in your presentation.

2. Select "Share" from the drop-down menu.

Click 'Share'

3. Click "Export" from the opened menu.

Click 'EXPORT'

4. Select mp4 to download your video as an mp4 file. Once clicked, your video will start downloading. When it’s finished, you can find it in your Downloads folder.

5. Save the file to your Google Drive.

To save the file to your Drive, click New, then select and upload your mp4 file.

Navigate to your PPT Presentation

6. Once the video is saved, open the PPT presentation where you want to embed it.

7. Click the slide where you want to insert your guidde (For PPT files, skip to step 13).

8. Click "Insert" on the top PowerPoint toolbar.

9. Select "Video".

A pop-up will appear, prompting you to choose between uploading a video from YouTube or your Google Drive.

11. Choose Google Drive and select the video you want to insert into the presentation.

12. Click "Insert" to confirm.

Click 'Insert'

13. In a standard PowerPoint file, follow the same steps: Go to the desired slide, then click Insert > Video > Insert Video From This Device to add your video.

14. The video is seamlessly embedded in your slide and will play when you click on it.

15. You can resize the preview by clicking and dragging any of the corners.

16. Reposition the video on the slide by clicking and dragging the preview image.

That's it!

Your presentation is embedded with a video that will start playing once you click it.
